Certified Athletic Trainers

Certified Athletic Trainers at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush specialize in the prevention, care, and reconditioning of orthopaedic injuries. Certified athletic trainers work with patients to establish conditioning programs, council on nutrition, establish and monitor rehabilitation programs. As specialists in the prevention, recognition, and rehabilitation of injuries incurred by athletes, athletic trainers administer immediate emergency care and, under the supervision of our physicians, use their knowledge of the injuries incurred by the physically active individual and the factors influencing them to develop a treatment program based on medical, exercise, and sports sciences.

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush Certified Athletic Trainers are highly educated and skilled professionals certified by the state of Illinois specializing in athletic health care, and serve as an integral part of the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush clinical team.
