Following this comprehensive evaluation, a customized treatment program is implemented for each patient. Their goal is to help patients achieve their maximum potential and resume performance of tasks in their daily living and work environments.

Treatment includes the fabrication of custom static and dynamic splints for protection and improved function, use of thermal and electrical modalities to improve soft tissue response, joint mobilization and exercise to improve range of motion, joint protection and ergonomic strategies to prevent further injury, and physical exercise and strengthening to improve overall upper extremity function. During the course of treatment, occupational therapists document the patient's progress, conduct periodic examinations, and modify treatments when necessary.
