Tammy brings to her position at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush extensive experience with athletic injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. She is also adept at designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs through the accurate identification of predisposing injury factors.
Since 1993, Tammy has operated a health and fitness business that specialized in athletic training. She has worked with the Illinois Gymnastics Institute, the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, and with the Chicago Fire instructing exercise and stretching programs and performing massage therapy. She also served as the Team Massage Therapist for the Woman's National Soccer Team in 2000.
In 2005,Tammy developed the Athletic Training Outreach Program (ATOP), a service that provides free athletic training/injury assistance to a variety youth and adult sports clubs. Tammy also an ART certified therapist and sees patients at the Orthopedic Building, 1611 W. Harrison St.
