Dr. Craig Della Valle, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush joint replacement surgeon and Chief of Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, and his research team have recently completed a study that has been recognized by the Hip and Knee Societies.

Their poster, “Duloxetine Does Not Affect Opioid Use or Outcomes following Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Triple-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial” earned the Thomas and Cynthia Sculco Research Award at the 2024 Current Concepts in Joint Replacement Annual Meeting.
