New Foot and Ankle Surgeon Joins Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush

Beginning September 3, 2024, Dr. Edward Hur, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of conditions related to the foot and ankle, joins Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR), a practice consistently ranked among the top ten in the nation and the #1 orthopedic program in Illinois. Dr. Hur completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and further specialized his training by completing an orthopedic foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School.
Dr. Hur utilizes a patient-centered approach to provide comprehensive orthopedic foot and ankle care using both nonsurgical and surgical treatments. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle arthroplasty, deformity correction, sports-related injuries, and fracture care. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. He is committed to contributing to the field through conducting research and training future orthopedic surgeons as part of the Rush University orthopedic residency and fellowship programs.

Dr. Hur will see patients in the Chicago, Westchester, and Joliet offices.
