Biography

Delaney is a physical therapist at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, based at the Chicago clinic. A Chicagoland native, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Elon University and returned to Chicago for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University.

At Northwestern, Delaney worked with marathon runners, participated in concussion and pulmonary rehab research, and volunteered with Kids Enjoy Exercise Now. She recently completed her orthopedic residency at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, where she also taught as an adjunct faculty member at Rush University, focusing on biomechanics, modalities, and gait training.

A former lacrosse player, cross-country runner, and skier, Delaney has experience on both sides of the treatment table. She values patient collaboration to develop personalized recovery plans. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and running along the lakefront trail.
