Biography

Dr. Bailey Terhune is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.  She has a particular interest in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, and complex primary and revision hip and knee surgery.  Dr. Terhune’s goal is to provide individualized treatment to every patient, to ensure optimal outcomes and enhanced quality of life. 

Dr. Terhune received her undergraduate degree from Colorado College, followed by her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  Dr. Terhune completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she received multiple awards for dedication to teaching, research, and clinical care.  Dr. Terhune further specialized in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement through her fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. 

Dr. Terhune is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and mentors surgical residents and fellows.  She is a respected researcher and has published numerous high-impact studies in the field. 

Dr Terhune and her team take a patient-centered approach, prioritizing comprehensive care and personalized treatment from initial consultation to full recovery.
