Dr. Weber is the Director of Primary Care/Sports Medicine and Women's Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, where she brings a wealth of expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues. She is also the founder and Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Weber’s contributions extend to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and she is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in patient care and teaching.
Dr. Weber's involvement in the community is notable; she serves on the board of Girls in the Game and was honored as their Health Champion in 2006. Her academic contributions are significant, with numerous published articles and book chapters reflecting her active role in research. As a former college athlete, Dr. Weber possesses a deep understanding of sports medicine and exercise physiology, which she brings to her clinical practice.
Renowned as a leading sports medicine physician, Dr. Weber’s reputation is further enhanced by her remarkable contributions to the treatment of high-level professional athletes. She serves as the head primary care sports medicine team physician for the Chicago Bulls (NBA) and the Chicago White Sox (MLB), as well as the head team physician for the Chicago Force Women's Football team. Additionally, she is a co-head team physician for the DePaul University Blue Demons and serves as the physician for the Hubbard Street Dance and the River North Dance Companies. She is also a member of the LPGA Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Weber is actively involved in several committees, including the NBA Team Physicians Executive Committee, NBA Research Committee, MLB Concussion Committee, and MLB Research Committee. She has served on the MLB Medical Advisory Board for several years and was the first woman elected President of the MLB Team Physicians Association.
