Biography

Kristen is the Director of Hand Therapy at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, bringing 30 years of experience in occupational therapy. She specializes in the rehabilitation of upper extremity injuries, focusing on conditions from hand to elbow.

Her extensive expertise includes managing traumatic and complicated injuries, with skills in orthotic fabrication, wound care, edema management, elbow fractures, and tendon rehabilitation. Kristen has treated professional athletes, including members of the Chicago Bulls (NBA) and White Sox (MLB).

She has served as a clinical instructor and mentor to OT students and staff, coordinated continuing education courses, and lectured locally and nationally on hand therapy. In her current role, Kristen mainly serves in an administrative and educational capacity, maintaining the high quality of OT services across the MOR OT Department.
