Michael Tulman joined Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in 2023 as a physical therapist. Transitioning from a previous career as an Electrical Engineer in the semiconductor industry, Michael discovered his passion for physical therapy after suffering a sports injury and undergoing surgery. His rehab experience led him to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh and relocate to Chicago to start his new career.
Michael specializes in return-to-sport rehabilitation for both operative and non-operative injuries, with a focus on ACL rehabilitation for soccer players. He is certified in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction therapies and holds multiple coaching certifications.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys CrossFit, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Tilly.
