Dr. Nicole Levy is a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician specializing in the non-surgical treatment of acute, overuse, and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. She provides care for athletes of all ages and levels, from weekend warriors to aspiring Olympians. Dr. Levy has particular interests in the care of child and adolescent athletes, runners, basketball players, as well as fracture care and concussion management.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Levy pursued her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, where she first developed an interest in Sports Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a Categorical Pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Levy went on to complete a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, during which she served as an assistant team physician for the New York Giants (NFL), New York Mets (MLB), St. John's University Athletics, and local high school football teams. Additionally, she provided care for skiers and snowboarders at Killington Medical Clinic in Vermont. She has served as an event physician for major events such as the Lake Placid Ironman, New York City Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and as a Medical Director for the Brooklyn Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.
Dr. Levy is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is committed to helping her patients return to their desired level of activity and optimizing their quality of life through personalized care plans. Her practice encompasses all ages, including adolescents in recreational sports, individuals seeking to maintain health through exercise, and those dealing with arthritis-related challenges.
In her free time, Dr. Levy enjoys staying active outdoors, running, tennis, and yoga. She participated in the 2013 Chicago Marathon, which deepened her appreciation for the dedication required in race training. She also loves traveling, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
