Athletic trainers will gather strength, active range of motion, and passive range of motion symmetry metrics for both hips, knees, and ankles. After strength and range of motion testing, we will have you run on a treadmill in our sports assessment lab. There, motion capture cameras and software will create a 3D model of your running form and a report with metrics relevant to injury risk and efficiency. The testing takes about 60 minutes to complete. We will have your results immediately and will review them with your remaining session time. Here is an example of the report. We can help with ideas to address your unique needs as you transition into your running program. We will email you and your physician a copy of your reports as well as bullet points summarizing our findings.
