Athletic trainers will gather strength symmetry metrics for both legs. We do not expect your strength to be symmetrical, but we need to get a baseline of your progress so we can make appropriate recommendations. After strength testing, motion sensors will be applied to your back and legs so we can assess your core, hip, knee, and ankle stability
with planks, side planks, single-leg squats, and lunges. If you have been jumping before this screen, we will do single-leg jumping as well. We will complete tests for both legs. The testing takes about 30 minutes to complete. Please wear athletic clothing. We will have your results immediately and review them during your remaining session. We can help with ideas to address your unique needs as you transition into more sport-specific drills and higher-speed tasks. We will email you and your physician a copy of your reports as well as bullet points summarizing our findings.
