Dr. Kern Singh, a minimally invasive spine surgeon, was recently invited as a visiting professor to the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Ohio State University. While visiting, Dr. Singh met with Dr. Safdar Khan, an orthopedic spine surgeon who completed his fellowship at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, and is now an endowed Professor and Chief of the Spine Section at the Ohio State Univeristy Wexner Medical Center.
Dr. Singh presented on two topics: The Ethics of the Surgical Learning Curve and How to Reduce Radiation Exposure in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. In addition, he was able to visit the amazing facilities and see research that is being performed at the university.
